I’ve always been in awe of , and excited by, all space related things. I remember watching the Space Shuttle land for the first time quite vividly as a wee lad. I got a little bit excited and emotional when we went to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida a few years back – the Apollo experience is something to behold. So I like this participation effort for First Orbit. Yuri Gagarin made the first manned space flight 50 years ago and this film captures what he saw using the International Space Station. It’s an incredible film. And the effort that’s currently going on is to translate the film into as many languages as possible to share this amazing feat globally using Google Docs and other tools. Join in if you can.
