salad

“Your explanation is, to me, a pompous word salad bereft of meaning.”

Surely English is the only language to create such gems (no lettuce pun intended)? This was in reponse to the Guardian changing their homepage to look like, well, most other newspaper homepages these days. It’s a very long way down to the bottom. Interesting that the quote in the actual paper is different to the one in the online version. I don’t have the original paper anymore as I scribbled the delightful words down in my moleskin but I much prefer it. Talking of newspapers, I decided to buy the Observer on Sunday for a change. I won’t be doing that again. Only enjoyed the Food Monthly.
